Eating out in the Lake District

 

Rastellis: For a great family pizza and pasta night, with brilliant service, It's good value for money too.

Bodega Bar: A lively bar with a great selection of tapas and a good value wine list.

Jackson Bistro: What a wonderful bistro, with so much choice you are spoilt. They have a special 3 course dinner for £13.95, and its romantic too.

Brown Horse: They serve wonderful, hearty pub grub and fine ales. If you like a carvery, this is the place to be on a Sunday.

Ship Inn: Offers great value pub food, situated on the lakeshore with fantastic views. If you like the football they have Sky TV and show all the big matches.

Lamplighters Bar & Restaurant: Probably the best kept secret in the Lakes. Located in Windermere they serve unbelievable food, and fish is their speciality. Be prepared especially if you order the mussels, I'm not going top tell you about the cod & chips either. I can assure you, you will not be disappointed.
